These appointments add changes in specialised police functions to the wider district-level reshuffle.

What the Reshuffle Means for UP Police Administration

The transfer of 20 IPS officers changes leadership responsibilities across multiple districts and police units.

With officers moving between district police posts, commissionerates and specialised assignments, the reshuffle represents a broad administrative adjustment within Uttar Pradesh's police structure.

Such changes can also affect operational priorities, coordination and administrative oversight as officers assume responsibility for their new assignments. Information on the wider range of professional and administrative Other Services can be accessed separately.

The transferred officers are expected to take charge of their respective new responsibilities as part of the state's latest police-administration changes.
