Party Says It Will Pursue Legal Action Over Alleged Use of Force During July 20 Protest
The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced that it plans to launch a website through which protesters can identify police personnel whom they allege used excessive force during the July 20 Parliament March in New Delhi.
Speaking at a press conference, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das said the platform would assist protesters in identifying officers and, where appropriate, support legal efforts to seek the registration of First Information Reports (FIRs).
