A Delhi court has allowed NEET-UG 2026 paper leak accused Yash Yadav to appear for the re-examination scheduled on June 21.

The Rouse Avenue Court held that allegations alone cannot be used to deny a candidate the right to take an examination unless there is a specific legal bar or a finding of guilt by a competent court.

Court Says Allegations Cannot Bar Exam Rights

Yadav is among the accused facing allegations linked to the circulation and sale of confidential examination material.

While hearing his application, the court observed that criminal proceedings and educational rights must be treated separately.

The court clarified that the order does not express any opinion on the merits of the allegations or the ongoing investigation.

Paper Leak Probe Continues

The NEET-UG paper leak case remains under investigation.

Authorities are examining digital records, financial transactions, communication trails and the roles of suspects across multiple states.

Investigators are focusing on how confidential examination material was allegedly accessed, circulated and monetised.

Security Tightened for June 21 Re-Exam

The NEET-UG re-examination is considered crucial for lakhs of students.

Authorities have reportedly strengthened security through stricter surveillance, closer monitoring of communication channels and improved safeguards for question paper handling.

Cybercrime expert Prof. Triveni Singh said exam-related crimes are increasingly technology-driven, involving encrypted messaging apps, digital payments and social media networks.

Why Independent Oversight Matters

Examination systems require strong controls, verified documentation and transparent review mechanisms. Professional auditing services in india can help institutions strengthen internal checks, assess process risks and maintain accountability in high-stakes systems.
