Dubai: Bargain lovers across the UAE have reason to celebrate. Irish retail giant Primark will officially open its first UAE store at Dubai Mall on March 26, 2026.

The much-anticipated launch marks the brand’s debut in the UAE and is part of a wider regional expansion.

Following the Dubai Mall launch, Primark will open at:

• City Centre Mirdif – April 2026

• Mall of the Emirates – May 2026

The announcement was first made in May 2025, with promises of early 2026 openings - a timeline the retailer appears set to meet.

Primark has partnered with Alshaya Group to launch multiple outlets across Dubai, bringing its globally popular affordable fashion concept to the region.

Will Primark Be Affordable in the UAE?

Yes. According to Alshaya Group CEO John Hadden, who confirmed the expansion on Virgin Radio Dubai’s Kris Fade Show in 2025, Primark’s famously low pricing model will be maintained in the UAE.

Expected price points include:

• Jeans starting at Dh50

• Basic T-shirts priced from Dh15

This commitment to affordability is one of the reasons the store opening is considered among the most anticipated retail launches of the year.

Primark’s Middle East Expansion

Before entering the UAE market, Primark launched its first Middle East store in October 2025 at The Avenues Mall in Kuwait.

Founded in Dublin more than 50 years ago, Primark now operates over 450 stores across Europe and the United States. Its UAE entry represents a major milestone in its global growth strategy.
